Yes, having your own instrument is necessary,  even for the trial lesson.

It’s a matter of personal preference, but here are some guidelines:

A classical guitar has nylon strings, which are softer and more comfortable on beginners’ fingers. An acoustic guitar has steel strings, which produce a sharper and more penetrating sound. Both guitars can be played with fingers or a pick, and can suit any music style. Generally, though, classical guitars are often better for classical technique, fingerstyle, and classical or pop music arranged in a classical style. Acoustic guitars, on the other hand, are ideal for playing with a pick and are commonly used for pop and rock music.

As for guitar size, a standard size works for children aged 9 and up. For younger children, a classical guitar is often a better choice since it is slightly smaller and has softer strings. For children under 9, depending on their height, a 3/4 or even a 1/2-size classical guitar might be more suitable.

Most left-handed players learn to play in the standard way (using their right hand), and if they start this way from the beginning, it’s rare to switch later. Therefore, it’s not necessary to buy a left-handed guitar. A classical guitar is a good option, as it’s symmetrical. If we later determine that playing left-handed would be better for the student, we can simply reverse the strings so it can be played left-handed.

Our online classes are conducted through the Zoom Cloud Meetings app. You’ll need a device (phone, tablet, or computer) to participate, and, of course, a guitar. You can join lessons from anywhere in the world with a stable internet connection. No prior knowledge is required, as our program is designed to accommodate new students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players.

Commonly, we offer 4 individual lesson lasting 45 minutes per month – one lesson a week. But, you can always book more lessons according to your needs.

We have several options, a membership, as well as pay per lesson option, check the conditions and the price list here CONDITIONS

We use our own program along with the Rockschool program from London, covering various musical styles like pop, rock, folk, and classical. Both classic and contemporary hits are included, as well as music from both local and international artists. We primarily use guitar tablature, which closely resembles traditional notation, and also work on music theory and note-reading. We play music that we believe is high-quality, but we also consider our students’ preferences and create new arrangements as needed. We cover three main techniques: classical, fingerstyle, and pick playing.
